so i was at this funeral .. and i;ve been down since , havnt been my old self.. you know its the sort of effect funerals have on a person even though i was there not more then five minutes.. !
i got to thinking .. if a trgedy befell my household. how would i react.. its a sad thing to think about but i couldnt help it its in my nature to questions and htink about such things.. the family who lost their head of the family , were calm and composed , but the elderly wife of the deseased looked shaken up.. i could imagine .. there he lay infront of her , motionless . her partner in life just lay there sleeping, and it looked like she knew he would never awaken ever again. . it was just sad.. but the man looked to have loved his life , seen his two children married off and then the grand arrival of two gorgeous grandchildren of both gender.. but if anyone would have asked him for more time he would have definitely asked for more..i am sure. living is never enough . we become greedy most of do,, we want to wait a little longer, to experiiece a little more , to partake life as a whole.. to just be there.. but like they always say .. if wishes were horses, beggers would ride them !! ahaha
now, thats other people bit.. now the question come about me.. not my funeral arrangements..silly.. what do i make of this.. i know death as an inevitable part of life. you cannot escape it no amount of bribe will get you out of this circle,, and i understand it.. i also believe that when someone passes away, its ought to be a celebration of the deceased person life rather that focusing on the "death" aspect and the "loss" of the close ones..
my general perception of death is for a death to be celebration.. because the deceased has left this horrid world for something better.. i do not know, its creepy even writting about it.. but when it comes down to reality customs should be obeyed.. but i guess in hearts of hearts if ever this misery befell on me (pray its dosnt) i would always be happy that they have moved on to another chapter.. away from this world which is doomed anyways.. !
Peace and love..
